Based in Canalys’ Shanghai office, Amber works as a Research Analyst and is responsible for the global tracking and analysis of the smartphone market in Greater China. She has an excellent understanding of current and emerging market and technology trends and their impact on clients’ businesses. Together with Canalys’ global team, she works on research deliverables, including quarterly market tracking data and forecasts, reports and webcasts. Her insight helps Canalys’ clients maximize their commercial success.

Prior to joining Canalys, Amber spent four years working as a General Manager Assistant at a leading semiconductor technology group. She carried out end-product market research to support top management’s decision-making processes.

Amber graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a master’s degree in Social Policy. She is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
