Ishan is a Principal Analyst based in Singapore, leading Canalys’ worldwide PC and tablet service. He oversees the Canalys quarterly PC tracker, which provides detailed shipment information and forecasting in 60+ markets. He also drives the qualitative research agenda for the service - providing insights, customized presentations and thought leadership content to support clients’ competitive strategies and go-to-market approaches. Ishan conducts and contributes to various consulting projects across the wider mobility market. 

Ishan is frequently quoted by the top-tier media and has appeared as an expert industry commentator on TV networks like CNBC, Bloomberg and Channel News Asia.

Prior to joining Canalys, Ishan worked as an economic consultant in Los Angeles, with a focus on retail and financial markets. His responsibilities included data analysis, statistical modelling and preparing industry research reports.

Ishan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Politics from Pomona College in California. He speaks English and is proficient in Spanish.
