Based in Canalys’ Singapore office, Marcus is a Research Analyst with a specific focus on PCs. He contributes to Canalys’ mobility industry research on desktops, notebooks and tablets, covering fields such as PC gaming, semiconductors and chipsets, and vertical adoption.

Prior to joining Canalys, Marcus worked as a Machine Learning Intern at the Defence Science and Technology Agency, a statutory board under the purview of the Ministry of Defence of the Government of Singapore, where he was involved in natural language processing. He also worked as a Data Analyst Intern at Regtank Technology, gaining exposure to the fintech industry, extracting and analyzing data from Bitcoin wallet addresses.

Marcus holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science and Analytics from the National University of Singapore. He speaks English and Mandarin.
