Lindsey works as an Analyst and is based in Canalys’ Portland, Oregon office. She contributes to the company’s smartphone quarterly market research analysis and forecasting as part of Canalys’ mobility team. 

Before joining Canalys, Lindsey worked as a user experience researcher in digital communications and as a professor in the social sciences. While in higher education, she conducted user experience research in telecommunications and higher education technology development. Her analysis of the pain points and barriers faced by users affected redesign throughout various phases of product development. She engages in research at the intersection of technology and society, where a range of qualitative and qualitative methodologies are used to uncover insights. 

Lindsey graduated from Old Dominion University with a Doctorate Degree in Sociology and Criminology, with expertise in statistical and qualitative analysis. Her research has resulted in publications and community engagement on a range of topics related to human behavior.
