Based in Mexico City, Miguel oversees Canalys’ advisory and research services covering the mobility market in Latin America, providing fact-based insights and analysis on vendor performance, channel dynamics, go-to-market strategies, and global and regional trends.
Prior to joining Canalys, Miguel gained over 10 years’ experience in the consumer technology industry, working as a consultant. He also worked as a market intelligence, retail marketing and go-to-market executive for top global companies, such as Nokia, Samsung and TCL.
Miguel holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Trade and Shopper Marketing from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Communications, specializing in Marketing and Advertising, from the Anahuac University in Mexico City. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
