Based in Canalys’ Bangalore office, Sanyam Chaurasia is a Research Analyst studying the mobility market, with a specific focus on smartphones. He contributes to Canalys’ mobility research services, covering vendor performance, go-to-market strategies and global market trends in the smartphone space.

Prior to joining Canalys, Sanyam worked for over two years as an Investment Analyst for a global asset management business, gaining expertise in the consumer technology industry. Before that, he worked for over two years as an Investment Associate for a global investment bank in the semiconductor industry, covering major companies, such as Samsung, Hynix and LG Electronics.

Sanyam holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the IPS Academy, Indore, and a master’s degree in Finance from IBS Hyderabad. He speaks English and Hindi.
