Canalys: 2019年第一季度，中国云基础设施服务投入超过20亿美元。 

Canalys云渠道分析服务最新研究表明，中国在云基础设施服务上的总投入在2019年第一季度首次达到21亿美元。中国占据着全球9.2%的市场份额，使之成为仅次于美国48.4%全球份额的第二大云基础设施服务市场。亚马逊云服务（AWS）、微软Azure和谷歌云在全球占据主导地位，但在中国并非如此。政府的推动和行业政策帮助总部位于中国的云服务提供商能够占据前五名中的四位。阿里云在一季度居首，拥有47.3%的市场份额。其次是腾讯云，市场份额为15.4%。AWS排名第三，占据8.8%。紧随其后的是百度云（8.0%）和中国电信（6.8%）。

中国在云基础设施服务方面的投入得益于中国拥有全球最大的互联网和智能手机用户量，这大大推动了数字消费服务的使用。Canalys 研究分析师刘畅表示：“在过去十年，中国初创企业迅速成长，发展成为全球性大公司。他们专注于在视频、游戏、电子商务、社交媒体和数字金融领域提供创新的数字化在线服务”。“阿里巴巴是中国领先的电子商务平台，腾讯则以微信引领社交媒体领域，百度是在线搜索方面的领导者，所有这些服务都以云计算为基础。这推动了他们在全国范围内分布式数据中心上的大量投资，以支持他们不断增长的客户需求和新业务的推出，并维持服务的高可用性。”

政府机构一直积极采用云技术，并将其视为支持数据密集型业务（如安全和智慧城市，以及电子政务服务）的核心要素。“网络安全政策和数据本地化要求的结合，以及《中国电信条例》，有助于加速本土云服务提供商的增长。”刘畅补充道。“当前中美之间的贸易问题将进一步加剧这一现状。在国际上，中国云服务商正在继续扩张，特别是在东南亚、中东和欧洲部分地区。如果中美关系进一步恶化，世界各国不但将被迫决定5G网络服务是采用中国还是非中国的技术设备，而且在部署云基础设施服务方面也将面临同样的选择。”
